2024-05-06

A meeting was recently held between Yu Xubo, Chairman of Genertec, and five Genertec staff members of CMC Europe from Hungary. Zhang Zhenrong and Gu Jin, vice presidents of Genertec, were present at the meeting.

The meeting took place during the five Hungarian staff members' trip to China.

In February, Xu made an inspection tour to CMC Europe in Hungary, where he also visited the Kaposvar solar power plant invested and constructed by CMC. Yu pointed out that efforts should be made to enhance cultural exchange and cultivate local talents in Hungary. He sincerely invited Hungarian staff members to visit China, learn about its culture, and experience its charm firsthand.

In mid-April, five Hungarian staff members of CMC Europe embarked on a journey to China, becoming the first participants in Genertec's cultural exchange and study program.

Visiting the Headquarters

Upon their arrival at Genertec headquarters in Beijing, the Hungarian staff members explored various facilities such as gyms, basketball courts, and more, fully enjoying their days at the headquarters. In addition to communicating with Genertec executives during a meeting, they further deepened their understanding of Genertec's history and core operations through visits to the corporate exhibition hall.

Experiencing Chinese Culture

The Hungarian staff members also experienced the richness and profoundness of Chinese culture.

They savored the delectable food of China, and watched Peking opera performances, enthralled by the allure of traditional Chinese art. They also experienced the efficiency and speed of China's high-speed trains during their trip.

Visiting Chinese Factories

The Hungarian staff members also visited representative companies in China's photovoltaic manufacturing industry and new energy industry in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian Province, and Hefei, east China's Anhui Province, learning about the current development and future trends of China's photovoltaic industry through on-site visits and discussions with company managers.

They toured the construction site of a photovoltaic project in Macheng city, central China's Hubei Province. They also visited Genertec BRICS (Xiamen) Investment & Development Co., Ltd., gaining firsthand experience of the operations of the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center (BPIC).
